What is the Community Edition Download?
The Community Edition download is listed first and includes the full software for your workstation or server, including the Developer Environment (IDE) and plug-ins to build and modify components. For Window releases after ChainBuilder ESB 1.2 beta, the single installer optionally allows for a full or Server Only installation.What is adding "Professional" Functionality?
Select executables make up the Professional Edition and are available at no cost to commercial license sites and sites with professional subscriptions. Fully functional versions of the software executables can be downloaded and evaluated at anytime, but use of the runtime for more than 12 hours is only available with a customer's professional subscription key. What is a "Server Only" Download?
Once the component is built, this Server-only download is the smaller deployment download for any server running ChainBuilder ESB components that does not have the full Community Edition download installed. (For Window releases after ChainBuilder ESB 1.2 beta, "Server Only" is an installation option within the Community Edition download, not a separate zip file.)
What is a "Patch" Download?
Patch releases bring your existing installation of ChainBuilder ESB to the current development level of software within a point release. You must have a previous point release of the ChainBuilder ESB installed. Please read the "Patch Install Notes" under Resources for details.
